Comme des Garçons and its avant-garde attire has long-been sort after collector’s items and now, thanks to the renowned boutique Dot COMME moving onto FarFetch.com, you can own your own one-off vintage collectable in just one click. It’s basically fashion’s equivalent of purchasing literal ‘art work.’ Call yourself a collector already! #adulting

The boutique's appearance on FarFetch.com coincides with the opening of Rei Kawakubo/Comme des Garçons: Art of the In-Between at the Costume Institute at The Metropolitan Musuem of Artand Dot COMME founder, Octavia La Roda collection is both unqiue and diverse. Plus there really is a piece for every budget with jumpers starting at £400.

Having spent a decade acquiring pieces from all over the world, La Roda has created an auction house at your fingertips and, just like satorial Sotheby’s, if you don’t strike quickly the one-off pieces will be well, off!

The collection ranges from real pieces of theatre including the a red two-dimensional ensemble from autumn/winter 2012, that defies the body’s form, to unconventional shirt dresses that manage to make stripes seem revolutionary. Who. Knew.

The carefully curated collection shows just how influential the brand has been in redefining the way we perceive dress.

Other stand-out styles includes the ‘designer’s designer’, Kawakubo’s innovative take on the leopard print skirt, the edgiest of asymmetric sheer black dresses, a red polka dot dress that re-fashions Minnie Mouse mode and striped suiting that won’t put the boredom into your boardroom.
